JoriMaker is a privacy-first rishta platform. We collect only what is needed to create profiles, help families search respectfully, and keep the service secure.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
- Account details — phone/WhatsApp number, optional email, and password (stored as a secure hash).
- Profile details — name, gender, date of birth, city/province/country, education, profession, caste, bio, citizenship/visa status, family notes, and similar rishta information you choose to share.
- Photos — only if you upload them. You control blur and photo-request settings.
- Usage & security data — login activity, IP address, approximate location for security, device/browser basics, and contact-form messages.
3. How we use information
- Create and show your rishta profile according to your privacy choices.
- Help members search and send interest in a respectful way.
- Secure accounts, prevent abuse, and improve the site.
- Reply to support requests and important service messages.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your profile content for public advertising networks.
4. Privacy-first controls
- Photos optional — many families keep photos private or blurred.
- Contact protection — phone and email stay hidden until access rules allow viewing (for example mutual interest / plan permissions).
- Profile visibility — deactivated or pending accounts are kept off public listings.
- Admin oversight — trusted administrators may review profiles for safety and support only.
5. Sharing
Other members may see the profile information you make public. We may share limited data with:
- Hosting, email/SMS, and security providers that help run the service;
- Authorities when required by law or to protect members from serious harm;
- Someone you ask us to help (for example family support you request).
6. Retention
We keep your account while it is active. If you ask us to close your account, we remove or anonymise personal profile data within a reasonable time, except records we must keep for security, legal, or fraud-prevention reasons.
7. Your choices
- Update profile and privacy settings from your account (more controls continue to expand).
- Request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting support.
- Stop using the service and ask us to deactivate your profile.
8. Children
JoriMaker is for adults seeking marriage. You must be of legal marriageable age in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.
9. International members
If you use JoriMaker from outside Pakistan, your information may be processed where our servers and support tools operate. We still apply the same privacy-first standards.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the product grows. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
